But for this Christmas, Brad and I are home for the holidays exploring our small town of Milton that is slowly growing, and catching up with our families and friends.

Wasn't really our plan to visit this place, but glad that we did 👍

We were supposed to go on an island hopping tour but it was canceled due to the weather 😅

So we did a last-minute booking to go to a sunset kayak tour in Ao Thalene. We weren't expecting much but the landscape, the sandbar and the sunset were breathtaking😍🌄

Sometimes, the negative things that happen to us might just be a way for us to see something bigger and better, you just have to stay open 🫶

Kayak through mangroves, lagoons, narrow channels during the golden hour in this beautiful spot in Thailand

✨️ Things to expect:
1. Pickup and drop off from your hotel is included
2. Paddle through mangroves, limestone cliffs and narrow rivers
3. Expect to see wildlife. We did see a lot of monkeys around
4. Stop at a small beach for a quick break
5. Explore a sandbar at low tide, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset

We didn't expect to explore this beautiful place. Our Hong Island tour got canceled, so we booked this one spontaneously.

And it turned out to be an amazing experience❤️

You need to read this before going to Khao Sok 👇

Most people would want to stay in a floating bungalow in the iconic Cheow Lan Lake. Seeing the stars at night on the lake is incredible. We booked last minute and missed out, but everything worked out.

We ended up staying in the main town and totally loved it.

Things to do in the main town:
- Jungle Trekking
- Night Safari
- Wildlife watching
- Canoeing, Rafting, Tubing
- Visit an elephant sanctuary
- Get a Thai massage
- Lots of options for restaurants and snacks
