We were told that we can't go to the islands we or We were told that we can't go to the islands we originally planned to go because of the strong winds. So we were offered to take a different tour, right when we were checking in for the original one. Since we didn't want to waste the day, we agreed. You can easily go down to explore the small beach and rock formations from the parking lot. Adamas (Adamantas) Things to do: - Visit the Milos Mining Museum or the Ecclesiastical Museum housed in a historic church. - Easily hop on a bus or boat to easily explore all of Milos island. - Relax at Lagada and Papikinou beaches, both within walking distance. 2. Pollonia Things to do: - Enjoy fresh seafood at one of the waterfront tavernas. - Visit the ruins of the ancient Phylakopi settlement. - Try wine tasting or tours in a cave at Kostantakis Winery - the only winery in the island. - Take a boat tour to the nearby island of Kimolos. 3. Plaka Things to do: - Hike up to the Venetian Castle for panoramic views of the island of Milos and surrounding islands. - Watch the sunset from the famous Panagia Korfiatissa church. - Walk to Trypiti to see the Ancient Theatre and the Catacombs of Milos. - Visit the Archaeological Museum of Milos. 4. Klima Things to do: - Walk along the scenic coastline and admire the colorful boathouses. - Visit the nearby Catacombs of Milos, one of the most significant Christian burial sites in Greece. - Explore the ancient Roman Theater, which offers spectacular sea views. 5. When we come back to Milos, we would probably stay in Plaka or any beachfront hotel.
